Description
The reverse of the coin depicts the French Imperial Eagle, the figure of an eagle on a staff carried into battle as a standard by the Grande Armée of Napoleon during the Napoleonic Wars. All around the reverse, the inscription: “BICENTENAIRE DE LA MORT DE NAPOLÉON BONAPARTE 1821-2021”. The obverse of the coin features an image of Napoleon Bonaparte and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN” – the issuing country, “2000 FRANCS CFA” – the face value, “AG 999 2 OZ” – the fineness of the Silver and the weight of the coin, and “2021” – the year of issue.
